Engineered to enhance your pace! The 8" DDU features the brightest LEDs on the market and a high-power USB-C connection with extremely high bandwidth. 26 RGB LEDs with 16million colors act as shift and indicator lights. The LEDs follow the new Ascher Racing SteadiColor philosophy which offer unmatched color stability in very low brightness settings while being mounted in individual housings, to prevent any light bleed.

All data is shown in real time at a 1.200×400 resolution — giving you the perfect overview of all necessary details about your race and car. Thanks to the official SimHub integration, dashboard and LEDs can be configured individually, giving you complete freedom to adjust everything to your needs. The integrated 16-bit color display delivers a bright 350 lumens, and its resistive touchscreen can be operated without removing your racing gloves.

COMPACT & PERFORMANCE ORIENTED DESIGN

The 8” dashboard has been designed to be extremely compact, with the main housing only being 18 mm thick. Due to the performance-oriented form factor the 8" widescreen fits perfectly in front of your screen, only covering the lower field of view and giving you maximum visibility. Optically the DDU integrates seamlessly with our wheels and button plates.

CNC-MACHINED HOUSING: THE KNOWN ASCHER RACING QUALITY

Unlike many competing products, the housing of the 8” DDU isn’t 3D-printed—it’s fully CNC-machined from aluminum and anodized in black, giving it the well-known Ascher Racing high-quality finish. Power is supplied via the included angled USB-C cable on the back, where the on/off pushbutton is also conveniently located. 

UNLIMITED COMPATIBILITY

¼” mount on the back of the housing allows for unlimited compatibility and freedom when placing your 8” dashboard. Scope of delivery includes two carbon mounting plates suitable for the most common high-end wheelbases, such as Simucube 1, 2, and 3.

Powerful 16-bit color display with 350 lumens and resistive touchscreen that can be operated without removing racing gloves. All data is shown in real time at 1.200×400 resolution.

26x RGB LEDs

16 x RGB LEDs with 16 million colors act as shift lights, 10x RGB LEDs as flag LEDs (5x16x5 configuration). Ascher Racing SteadiColor philosophy offers an unmatched color stability in very low brightness settings.

USB-C PORT

The high bandwidth USB-C port on the back of the housing offers a steady power and data connection. The included cable is angled to fit in tight spaces.

ON-OFF PUSHBUTTON

Separate ON-OFF pushbutton is hidden on the back of the housing to enable an individual operation next to SimHub.

MOUNTING OPTIONS

Two carbon mounting brackets for the most common wheelbases are included in the scope of delivery, further compatibility is achieved with the ¼” mount on the back of the housing.

SIMHUB INTEGRATION

The official SimHub integration ensures an easy setup with presets while also offering unlimited freedom with the setup of your dashboard.
